A move-in cleaning checklist for your Chiang Mai home or condo

The simplest time to clean a new home is after the previous occupant has left and before your boxes arrive. An empty floor and clear cupboards make it easier to see what needs attention and to agree the work room by room.
Start with a handover walk-through. Photograph existing marks or damage, note anything the owner or building team still needs to address, and separate repairs from cleaning tasks. That gives you a clear record of the condition before you move in.
For the cleaning scope, check kitchen surfaces and cupboard interiors, bathrooms, floors, skirting boards, fans, window tracks and reachable shelves. If you want the inside of a fridge, oven, microwave or cabinets cleaned, name each item in the quote request rather than assuming it is included.
Confirm the practical details as well: when the empty home can be accessed, whether reception or the juristic office controls entry, whether a lift booking is needed, and whether water and electricity will be on. Keep sensitive access details out of the first message and agree a safe handover method separately.
Send the floor area, bathroom count, location, current condition, requested tasks and target handover date for an indicative range. The written quote can then confirm the scope, access plan and price before you book, leaving your moving day focused on the move itself.
