雨季里如何让公寓远离霉菌

From June through October, indoor humidity in Chiang Mai sits high enough that mould will take hold on any surface left damp. It shows up first in the places air does not move: behind the wardrobe, along silicone seals, on the ceiling of a windowless bathroom.

The single most effective habit is airflow. Run the bathroom fan for twenty minutes after a shower rather than switching it off with the light. Leave wardrobe doors ajar when you are out. If you use air conditioning, the dry mode pulls more moisture out of a room than the cold setting does, and costs less to run.

For surfaces that already have spots, skip bleach on grout. It lightens the stain without killing what is underneath, so it returns within weeks. A dedicated mould remover left to sit for ten minutes does the job properly.

If it has spread further than a patch or two, a deep clean is the faster route. We treat grout, seals and ceilings as part of that visit.
